    Dear BPW Colleagues,

barb For so many years the physically strong ruled the earth, while the mentally strong guided them. The majority of those in the limelight of the decision making, those going to war and those reaping the benefits were the males of our species. Times have changed, though many women have joined the physically strong many more have joined the mentally strong, and many more are now in the limelight of the decision making.

I stand in amazement and appreciation for all of those strong women that have gone before me. Those women that paved the way by making the road easier and straighter for the women of today, creating more opportunities than ever dreamed possible.

As the end of the year rolls into place, I offer you these thoughts. If you could go anywhere, do anything, or have anything you wanted, what would it be? And the bigger question is, why would you want it? Next year will come and go. It will be fast and furious like the 2009, but when you get to the end of 2010 what would you like your results to be? Write those thoughts down and create a playful plan to attain them. I would rather create a goal and come short than to create no goal and succeed.

Have a wonderful December, enjoy your family traditions, love your families and loved ones but most of all nurture the strong women you are and "purposefully" create something new and wonderful for this coming year.

Sincerely,
Barb Tremlett
BPW of Nashua
President 2009-2010

Holiday Pot Luck Luncheon
Date: Thursday, December 17, 2009
Time: 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Location: Holistic Self Care Center, 12 Murphy Drive, Nashua, NH.

Please join us for a holiday celebration pot luck luncheon and networking event at the Holistic Self Care Center in Nashua.

Each guest is asked to bring a donation for the Nashua Soup Kitchen (a small bag of non-perishable groceries).

We are also requesting everyone bring some food to share (covered dish, entrée, nibbles, snacks, cheese & crackers, dessert) and a gift for a Yankee Swap. Our theme this year is "RE-GIFTING." So please don't spend any money on this. Just wrap up something you already have at home (nothing alive, please) and come prepared to laugh, renew some connections, make new friends and network
