Dear BPW Colleagues, |
| |

Another exciting meeting was planned for May. We encourage you to
attend our meeting at the Crown Plaza in Nashua at 11:00 so you
have time to network and meet other women prior to the beginning
of the formal meeting. In addition, following the speaker, you are
welcome to stay after 1:00 and network more to introduce yourself
to the wide variety of people our meetings attract. Bring your
brochures and business cards to hand out!
In addition, I want to remind members of our "Members
Promotional Business Table" which is available at every
meeting. As a member, you can put on the table your business card,
samples of your products, pamphlets, brochures and any other
handouts you want to share.
We are taking nominations for officers for next year, beginning in
September. Anyone who is interested in serving on the Board or on
a committee, please contact me at 578-9899 X203. We welcome your
involvement.
It has come to my attention that many people are not taking
advantage of the many benefits membership has to offer. For less
than $100/year you receive membership in a National Women's
Organization. In addition, I have listed some of the other
benefits available to members only:
- $10 discount for each membership luncheon. (one year's
meetings would pay for most of your membership!)
- Receive the National BPW Magazine to learn what women in
other parts of the country are doing.
- Placement of by-line articles for the newsletter.
- A gift in the speaker gift basket advertising your business.
- A sponsorship of a meeting.
- Use of a table at each membership meeting to display
business cards, brochures, and/or sample products.
- Participation on a committee, to effect and influence the
organization and support its growth.
- A listing in the Membership Directory.
- A listing on the State and National Website.
- Free Web-inars through the National Website.
- Discounted advertising in the newsletter.
- Membership to the Nashua Chamber.
- Personal and professional recognition in the newsletter of
announcements, awards, etc.
- Discounts through the National organization on insurance.
This list is just a sampling of all the benefits. For more
information on membership, and to make sure your membership is
current, please e-mail membership@bpwnashua.com
Any member who has an article or announcement for the newsletter
information contact communications@bpwnashua.com
Be sure to read in this newsletter information regarding our Expo
coming this June. Booths and advertising are going fast, so act
quickly to reserve your space. We also have "free" tickets that
you can share with your best customers, friends and contacts so
they can enjoy the Expo without the $5 charge. Contact Sue@OrganizeNH.com,
or pam@inhotwaterteas.com
I look forward to seeing you at BUSINESS EXPO!

The City has just recently completed a 3-month study designed to
identify ways to reduce the cost of the project, should the Board of

different associated cost.
Our forum will present both of these options, outline their
differences and their associated costs, and present you an
opportunity to review the blueprints for each option and ask
questions directly of the experts who conducted the study. Mayor
Lozeau and several aldermen will also be available to provide their
feedback with those in attendance.
